Getting Started

How quickly can my business onboard with DVN?

Most clients are fully onboarded within thirty days. The first week is spent documenting your environment and understanding how your team works. The next three weeks are spent deploying our standard security baseline, integrating our tools, and training your staff. Critical protections like multi-factor authentication and endpoint detection are typically in place within the first ten days.

Do I need to cancel my current IT provider before talking to DVN?

No. Most of our conversations start with a no-pressure assessment while you are still under contract. We will give you an honest view of your current state and what a transition would look like, without asking you to commit.

Do you handle the transition from my current provider?

Yes. Our onboarding team manages the handoff, including requesting documentation, transferring administrative access, and communicating the transition to your staff. You will not be left negotiating with your outgoing provider.

Pricing and Contracts

How does DVN pricing work?

Managed services are priced per user, per month, with no hidden fees. The per-user price includes help desk, monitoring, endpoint security, patching, backup, and Microsoft 365 management. Other services such as cybersecurity, compliance, and consulting are priced based on scope and are quoted after a brief assessment.

What contracts do you require?

Our managed services agreements are typically twelve-month terms with a thirty-day cancellation clause for cause. We do not lock clients into long multi-year agreements because we believe our work should speak for itself every year.

Are there setup or onboarding fees?

A one-time onboarding fee applies to most new clients to cover documentation, baseline deployment, and staff training. The fee is scoped based on the size of the environment and is quoted alongside the monthly agreement.

Services and Support

What is included in managed IT?

Managed IT includes unlimited help desk support during business hours, twenty-four-hour monitoring, automated patch management, endpoint detection and response, Microsoft 365 management, encrypted backup, and a dedicated virtual CIO. After-hours and emergency support are included for critical incidents.

Do you offer onsite support?

Yes. We provide onsite support across central and south Florida from our Tampa and Orlando offices. Remote support covers the continental United States and can often resolve issues faster than an onsite visit.

What is your response time?

Our average business-hours ticket response is under fifteen minutes. Critical incidents such as ransomware or suspected account compromise trigger escalation protocols within minutes at any hour.

Security and Compliance

How do you handle cybersecurity?

Every managed client receives a modern security baseline including multi-factor authentication, endpoint detection and response, email security, DNS filtering, and encrypted backup. Advanced cybersecurity services include twenty-four-hour managed detection and response, security awareness training, and incident response retainers.

Can you help me become HIPAA compliant?

Yes. We provide HIPAA gap assessments, policy development, technical control implementation, business associate agreement management, and audit support. Most healthcare clients reach a documented state of HIPAA alignment within sixty to ninety days.

Do you support CMMC compliance?

Yes. We provide CMMC readiness assessments and can serve as your managed services provider for CMMC Level One and Level Two environments. We work alongside certified third-party assessor organizations and can coordinate with your current cybersecurity attorney or advisor.
